She was predeceased by: her parents, George Boone and Helen Baines Boone; and her husband Samuel L. Byrd, Jr.. She is survived by: her caregiver Neuro; her children, Kathy Bew Jones and Frederick H. Bew, Jr.; her grandson Oscar D. Jones; her sister Barbara Warren (Delbert); her children, Kimberly Warren (Pat Edwards) and Dean Warren (Adele); and her stepchildren, Deena Cordero (Tony), Jay Byrd (Rose) and Karen Ward (Ryan). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
