He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hargrave and Lula Bowden Hargrave; his children, Sherry Lynn Threatt and John David Hargrave; his brothers, William Hargrave and Charlie Bowden; his nephew Danny Hargrave; and the mother of his children Joyce Hargrave.
He is survived by: his daughter Phyllis H. Cornett; his significant other Dianne Whitmer; his brother Jerry Hargrave (Linda); his sister-in-law Eve Hargrave; and his grandchildren, Michael Hargrave, Joey Barlow, John "Pooty" Hibbard, Lacie Hall, Shane Hargrave and Danielle Cornett. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and very loyal man's best friend.
