He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Dean Cook, Sr. and Winifred Ayers Cook; and his siblings, Linda Piper, Roscoe Dean Cook, Jr. and Bill Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Gurganus Cook; and his daughter Alexa Cook Barksdale (John). He is also survived by cousins, and nieces and nephews.
