She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mabel Maude Bailey and Paul Columbus Gay of Emporia, Virginia.; her siblings, Pauline, Laurice, Paul Jr. and Gladys; her spouse W. A. Cooke; her children, Wanda Allison and Wayne Allan; her friend Peggy; and her close friends, Macee, Delilah, Ramona and Carolina.
