She was predeceased by : her parents, David L. Hobbs and Pernell Turner Hobbs; her husband Alex "Bud" Gary, Jr.; her son Eugene Gary; and her sister Gladys Cary.
She is survived by : her children, Betty J. Johnson, Barbara Strylowski, Joyce Evans, Alden Gary (Gloria) and Michael A. Gary. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three great greatgrandchildren, other relatives and extended family.
