He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Jacqueline Mitchell Chaney; his brother William Lee Chaney, Jr.; and his in-law Billie Joe. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah C. Holt (Greg) and Jill C. Mauler (Dennis); his grandchildren, Sally Carter Holt, Jackson Mitchell Holt and Shelby Grayson Montgomery; his sister-in-law Jerry C. Chaney; his nephew William Lee Chaney III; and his niece Kelly Chaney.
