He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gregory Cridlin and Margaret Gresham Cridlin; and his brother Alvin Cridlin of Petersburg, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Cary Goffigon Cridlin; his children, William G. Cridlin III (Robyn) of Mechanicsville, VA. and Marion Cridlin Wheeler (Jason) of Bozeman, MT; his grandchildren, Anna Cridlin, William K. Cridlin, Adelaide Wheeler, Emerson Wheeler and Wren Wheeler; and his brothers, Chiles Cridlin of Chester, VA and Larry Cridlin of Mechanicsville, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northampton County EMS, PO Box 235, Eastville, VA 23347.
