It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Abbott (Cape Charles, Virginia), born in Wachapreague, Virginia, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Buck Abbott; and her parents, Edward Lewis and Florence Richardson Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Linda Linzey of Virginia Beach and Dan Phillips Abbott of Virginia Beach; her siblings, Sylvia L. Stephens of Jacksonville, FL, Vernon Lewis of Cheriton and Samuel Lewis of Singers Island, FL; her grandchildren, Jason Gordon (Kathryn) of Spotsylvania County and Kathlin Gordon of Virginia Beach; and her great grandchildren, Lily Gordon, William Gordon and Emmalyne Furman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
