He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hugh Patterson, Stanley and Elizabeth Hayward. He is survived by: his parents, Malcolm S. Hayward and Elizabeth Patterson Hayward of Cape Charles; and his grandmother Elizabeth Patterson of Ireland. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
