She is survived by: her children, Christopher Edward Caton of Virginia Beach and Leigh Anne Caton Vincent; her grandchildren, Patricia Karoline Caton (Karly) of Virginia Beach, Caton Elizabeth Vincent, Benjamin Branch Edward Vincent, Anna Leigh Downs Vincent and David Ackiss Vincent of Southern Shores; her sister Suzanne Ackiss Brown (James Winton Brown); and her husband Ned.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach, the Rescue Squad or the Special Olympics-Dare County (116 Lee Court Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948).
