He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin J. Bannon and Elizabeth G. Bannon; his siblings, Martin J. Bannon, Jr. and Myrtle B. Wills; and his significant other James A. Wells.
He is survived by: his partner's daughter Allison Wells (Karen Hansen); his niece Irish; and also Ed (Diane). He is also survived by cousins, and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Citizens for Central Park, the Cape Charles Public Library, or the Cape Charles Museum.
