It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Witek (Cape Charles, Virginia), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Witek and Anelia Witek. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Shigo Witek; his children, Deborah Witek Deren (John), Theresa Witek and Michael Witek; his grandchildren, Joseph Deren, Ty Witek and Torin Witek; and his sister Irene Witek Zatorski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
