He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rudolph and Lucile Widgeon Downes; and his brother Rudy. He is survived by: his pets, Bailey, Gracie and Bob; his wife Elizabeth; his children, Joe Jr. (Gina), Liz (Jonni) and Jill; his granddaughters, Virginia and Amanda; and his cousins, Julie, Jim and Brett. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
