It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Womble of Cape Charles, Virginia, born in Cheriton, Virginia, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Read Womble, Sr. and Mildred Hargis Womble. He is survived by: his daughter Anna Womble Sterrett of Durham, NC; and his grandsons, Anson Read Sterrett of Durham and Selig Fox Sterrett of Durham.
