He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lynwood Parkerson, Jr. and June Hopkins Parkerson; and his brother Dean Parkerson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ross Parkerson; his children, Teena Marie Odom, Tammy Kay Sanker (Robert Barker, Jr.), Daniel Hopkins Parkerson, Jr. (Sabrina) and Hannah Nicole Parkerson; his sister Donna Booth; and his grandchildren, Richard Thomas Peters, Jr., Brandon Ray Odom, Casey Lynwood Allen Odom, Gracie Lou Odom, Nathaniel Alexander Parkerson, Derrick Thomas Parkerson, Courtney Elizabeth Parkerson, Megan Lenay Passarelli, Tiffany Lynn Peters and Mia Kara Auglair. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
