She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Lee Ewell, Jr.; and her parents, Dr. Sheppard Kellam Ames and Catherine Chilcote Ames. She is survived by: her daughter Julie Ewell Parry (Alex) of Cape Charles; her siblings, Mary Catherine Valack (Richard) of Cape Charles and Charles Chilcote Ames (Betty Ann) of Powhatan, VA; and her grandchildren, Edward A. Parry IV, Pamela Elizabeth Burdzel, Christopher Lee Ewell, Regina Catherine Scheuermann, Jessica Taylor Dills and Andrew Taylor. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
