He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Ayers and Savada Ayers; his wife Wilma Cothren Ayers; and his siblings, Mae Ayers, June Guynn, Zettie Guynn, Ollie Ayers and R. J. Ayers.
He is survived by: his daughter Victoria; his son-in-law Richard Woods; his grandchildren, Matthew McMillian and Holly McMillian; his great grandchildren, Lee Branson and Daisy Branson; his brother Joseph Ayers; and also Randy McMillian.
