She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vance Rutherford and Dorothy Duncan Rutherford Semones; her brother Eugene Rutherford; and her stepfather Roger Semones. She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Hope Sechrist and Autumn Sechrist; her grandchildren, Colten Sechrist, Payten Sechrist, Sylas Sechrist, Addy Sechrist and Maggy Sechrist; her sisters, Deloris (Kenneth Shumate) and Lesa (Ronald Sizemore); her sister-in-law Pam Rutherford; her stepmother Phyllis Rutherford; and also Joshua. She is also survived by her husband of 48 years, Pastor Dwight Sechrist; two sons.
