She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Combs and Mary E. Strickland Combs; her husband Emmett J. Woods; her son Craig Lee Woods (Tim Woods); and her siblings, Delta Combs Butcher and J. C. Combs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Frost (Jeff), Beth Hale (Terry) and Shanna Hunt (Arnie); her grandchildren, Stevi Winer (Matt), Brent Woods and Cameron Hale; her great grandchildren, Parker Winer and Warren Winer; her siblings, Lavern Combs, Linda Hawks, Benice Combs and Barbara Combs; and her caregiver Lois Dickerson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rocky Ford Christian Church (12223 Fancy Gap Hwy, Cana, VA 24317). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Rocky Ford Christian Church Cemetery (12223 Fancy Gap Hwy, Cana, VA 24317).
