He is survived by: his daughter Ellen; his son-in-law Eric Marion; his son Vance Junior; his daughter-in-law Melanie Tate; his grandchildren, Brandon Tate (Miranda), Jonathan Tate (Renee Inman), Cody Tate (Trista Hinkley), Tyler Tate (Brystol Badgett), Dylan Tate, Jasmine Marion, Ashleigh Marion, Gavin Inman, Madison Inman and Cole Inman; his great grandchildren, Bethany Tate, Colton Tate, Kayden Tate and Kamden Tate; and his sisters, Imogene (Jerry Dalton), Gracie (Bobby Goad), Cathleen (Sammy Ashburn) and Shelby (Clyde Phillips). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
