He is survived by: his wife Caren Findley Chappell; his children, Ashley Bowman (Ricky), Lillith Marie Payne, Megan Nemecek and Corey Nemecek; his grandchildren, Lydia Bowman, Eve Payne and Jade Lezzard; his siblings, Darlene Wilson, Linda Thomas, Randy Chappell (Renee) and Sonny Chappell (Peggy); and his niece Rachel Hiatt. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
