With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Barry Towe of Cana, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Towe and Mary Sykes Towe. He is survived by: his wife Kristie Duncan Towe; his daughter Kara; his sister Brenda; his brother-in-law Danny Terry; his brother Dr. Benjamin; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Towe; his parents-in-law, Charles and Shirley Duncan; and his sister-in-law Tammy Harris (Kevin). He is also survived by 5 nieces; 4 great nieces; 2 great nephews; and many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Epworth Memorial Church (15315 Fancy Gap Hwy, Cana, VA 24317). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth Memorial Church.
