He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lissie and Lina Mae Cagle Jones; and his siblings, Loraine Jones Willard, Junior Jones, Namon Jones, Harlie Jones, Franklin Jones, Herman Jones, Odell Jones, Linwood Jones and Berna "Sol" Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Ida King Jones; his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Terry Edwards; his grandchildren, Cody Edwards, Courtney and Ben Jackson; and his siblings, Faye Hardigree, Helen, Eddie Vaughn and Donald Jones.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Paul's Creek Baptist Church (28 Paul's Creek Rd, Cana, VA 24317). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
