With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Almagray Easter of Cana, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Almagray left this world on January 19, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Jennings and Amanda Gray Jennings; and her husband Cameron P. Easter. She is survived by: her children, Dealiena Felts (Norman), Kenneth Easter (Frankie), Richard Easter (Karen) and Sherman Easter (Bonnie); her sister Mildred Norman (Paul); and her grandchildren, Michael Easter (Dawn), Amy Vollert (Nick), Ashley Galyean (Terry), Brenda Maiers (Eric) and Rachel Boyd (Raheim). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel (1035 N Main St, Hillsville, VA 24343). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Liberty Hill Cemetery.
