It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Prillaman Sr. of Callaway, Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest James and Ida May Prillaman of Callaway; his wife Lorena Orfield Prillaman; and his daughter Alesia Hope Prillaman. He is survived by: his sons, James Wendell Prillaman Jr. (Sharon) of Vinton and Randall Clay Prillaman (Rebecca) of Kingsport, Tenn.; his grandchildren, James Tyler Prillaman and Ryan Jacob Prillaman of Vinton; and his brother Glen Milton Prillaman of Callaway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
