He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gene King and Margaret Ann Clarke Geron; and his uncle Howard D. Clarke. He is survived by: his stepfather Adam Geron; his wife Crystal Dawn Blackwell King; his daughter Kristin Maxine King; his grandchildren, Jaeceanna, Maryann and Floyd King "Junior" Newton; his aunt Katherine VanLandingham (Bobby); his siblings-in-law, Vanessa Dedrick, Sheila Brooks, Rebecca Quick and Harvey Blackwell; and also Marcey Mills. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
