She was predeceased by: her parents, James Osborn Embrey and Gertrude D. Dawson Embrey; and her sister Helen B. Brannen. She is survived by: her children, Wayne G. Anderson of Callao and Shirley A. Cook of Dunnsville. She is also survived by three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond SPCA at 2519 Hermitage Road Richmond, VA 23220 or your local animal shelter since Lois had a special place in her heart for dogs.
