He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Graham Pinkard and Homer Crabbe Pinkard; his sisters, Brenda Pinkard and Delores Wilkins; and his nephew Tony Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila Davis Pinkard; his son Kipp Pinkard (Leah); his stepchildren, Lea and Brandon Collier; his sister Christine Smith (Butch); his granddaughter Molly Pinkard; his stepgranddaughter Eliza Collier; and his pet Fluffy.
