It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Sydnor of Callao, Virginia, born in Haynesville, Virginia, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mothers, Geneva Smith Sydnor and Ethel Mae Barton Sydnor; and his sisters, Laura Anne Saunders, Hazel Mahanes and Georgie Harper.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa S. Taylor (Ricky); his grandson Matthew Taylor (Taylor E. Garrison); and his great grandchild Ridge Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
