He is survived by: his wife Hankins Grocery; his former wife Debra Kay Hankins; his children, Debra Layne (J. J.), Tammy McGee (Ricky), Herman Hankins, Jr., Tonya Cassady (David), Danny Saunders (Lisa) and Kevin Hankins; his sisters, Judy Rowland and Joyce Davis; and his grandchildren, Levi Jordan, Tambra Hall, Christopher Parker, Taylor Cassady, Kala Reynolds Adkins and Blake McGee. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
