He was predeceased by: his parents, Berthia Jackson and Carter Jackson; his son-in-law Joseph; his siblings, Lucy, Berthia "Irene" and Robert; his brothers-in-law, Ronnie, James, Melvin, Joseph and Clarence; and his nephew Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his daughters, Joyce, Gwendolyn (Louis) and Tina; his sisters, Nancy (David), Hazel (Ronnie), Mary and Lillian (Nathaniel); his grandsons, Rahmel and Tremaine; his siblings-in-law, Eunice, Patricia, Carolyn, Jacqueline (Roosevelt), Steven and Samuel; and his close friends, Evelyn "Mack" Womack, Dennis Christopher, Missie and Adams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and loyal friends.
