He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest L. Boughman and Pearl Cardwell Boughman; and his spouse Carol Marie Webster Boughman. He is survived by: his daughter Connie Lee Barnett of Morganton, NC; his stepson John Clyde Fuqua, Jr. (Larisa) of Eden, NC; his grandchildren, Brandy Harris (Brian), Anthony Fuqua and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Graham Harris, Abigail Harris, Alexander Fuqua and Jewell Marie.
