It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Townsend (Burke, Virginia), who passed away on September 12, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Robert of Woodbridge; her daughter Sara Hellenberg of Woodbridge, Virginia; her grandsons, Richard Hellenberg and Ethan Townsend; and her siblings, Charles Vogel, Jim, Kathy Vogel, Beth and Henry Nichols.
If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPARK, the education foundation for Prince William County Public Schools, where Emily taught for several years.
