With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick Leo Poist of Burke, Virginia, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Poist and Albert "Bud" Poist; and his sister Ellen. He is survived by: his wife Nora Poist (Caraway); and his sons, Frank, Monty, Wyatt (Elizabeth) and Tyrone (Lesley).
