He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Thrift and Margaret C. Thrift; and his brother Joey Thrift. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Robertson Thrift; his sons, Troy of Baltimore, MD and Robbie of Burgess, VA.; his grandchildren, Laurel, Matt and Tripp; his great grandchild Jackson; and his pet Lucy.
