He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Dodson Dunaway. He is survived by: his children, Joseph H. Dunaway, Jr (Connie) and Denise D. Barriere (Andrew); his granddaughter Kaitlin Dunaway; his great grandchild Brighton Hearold; and his niece Mary Lee Kent (Kenny).
