He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Simms (Lauren) and Chris Simms (Amanda); his stepsons, Tim Higgins (Erica) and Shawn Higgins (Patti); his siblings, Sherly Lewis (Mark), Bruce Simms (Erica), Wayne Simms (Belinda) and Karl Simms (Liza); and his grandchildren, Gianna, Avery, Brantley, Tanner, Owen, Jaxon, Cooper, Amelia and Calan.
