It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Ellis Diggs Jr. of Bumpass, Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ellis Diggs, Sr. and Missie Cocke Diggs; and his son Charles Ellis Diggs. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Mallory Diggs; his daughters, Kim O'Connell (Scott), Jackie Marden (Brice), Cheryl Diggs and Karen Snelson (Billy); his grandchildren, Brice Marden (Ashley), David Marden, Will Hart and Pam Marden; and his great grandchildren, Adalynn, Eliza and Rhett Marden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little River Baptist Church in his honor.
