He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Steele; his children, Juanita Steele Pulley (Darrell), Renee Steele Hamilton (Scott), Denise Steele (Jackie) and William Gregory Steele, Sr.; his stepdaughters, Annette Pruett (David) and Marsha Alterescu; and his siblings, Anne McMennamy and Jerry Steele. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
