He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fernand and Susan Louise Graves; and his brother Earl Graves. He is survived by: his brothers, Frank, Alvin and Thomas; his wife Mary C. Graves of Bumpass; his children, Samuel of Richmond, VA and Cynthia (Frank) of Montpelier, VA; his grandson Shell (Tearria); his brother Ernest Graves (Clineth); and his friend Jim Gardner. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
