He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Hicks and Josie Hicks; and his siblings, Gene and Charlotte. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Hicks; and his sister Betty Stanley (Loren). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
