He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Hagen Overton; his parents, Robert W. Overton and Kathleen Shell Overton Pritchett; and his stepfather Wade H. Pritchett. He is survived by: his sons, Robert W. "Robbie" Overton, III (Ada Strong-Overton) and Benjamin M. Overton (Tonya Henley Overton); and his granddaughter Libby Overton.
