He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Hiiter and Arlene Hiiter (Cowles); his sister Janet White; his nephew Larry Hiiter Jr.; and his close friend Boyd Vollweiler.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sons, Steven Hiiter (Kimberly) and Matthew Hiiter (Ronda); his grandchildren, Aidan, Natalie, Hunter, Olivia, Amanda, Zach, Sullivan, Danika and Dusty; his stepchildren, Marcus Schuette, Kyle Schuette, David Ross Jr., Lillian Ross, Teresa Reeser (Scott) and Jason Bellor (Tammy); his stepgrandchild Skyler; his brothers, Larry Hiiter (Jean) and Richard Hiiter (Teresa); his great-nephews, Dylan and Walker Mollema; and his friends, Tom and Lyn Rogers.
