He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his son Robert Jr.; his parents, George and Margaret; and his sister Judy.
He is survived by: his daughter Terry (Jerry); his sisters, Linda, Susan and Vickie; his grandchildren, Ashley, Elizabeth (Thomas), Amanda (Greg), Kimberly (Brian), Robert III (Evie), Valerie and Christina; his great grandchildren, Conner, Tallulah, Owen, Bayleigh, Colton, Zaylee, Xayden, Maverick and Ezra; and his daughter-in-law Gail.
