She was predeceased by: her husband Walter E. Duke, Jr.; her son John Wayne Duke; her parents, Raymond Hayes, Sr. and Elsie Marie Hayes; and her siblings, Williams Hayes, Love Hayes and Judy M. Rickard.
She is survived by: her children, Walter Duke, III (Dawn), Carrie Sue Duke of Spotsylvania County and Daisy Robbins (Everett) of Spotsylvania County; and her siblings, Ronnie Hayes of Spotsylvania, Velvet Hayes of Spotsylvania, Patty Hayes of Spotsylvania, Pamela Hayes of Spotsylvania and Ray "Moosie" Hayes of Spotsylvania. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
