It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Costeller Hooker Graves of Bumpass, Virginia, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Curtis Hooker; and her sister Otelia Harris. She is survived by: her siblings, Herbert, Otis Hooker, Lucy and Doris Ellis; her children, Samuel "Junnie" of Richmond and Cynthia (Frank) of Montpelier; her grandson Mone'Shell; her great grandchildren, Christian, Elijah and Kingston; her niece Patricia Ellis; her nephews, Curtis, Melvin Ellis, Wilbert, Otis and Stacey Harris; her cousins, Lillian Morris, Alma Mallory and Della Nelson; and her friends, Lucille Pryor, Bernadine Henson, Griffent Yancey and Shirley Funn Graves. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins.
