He is survived by: his mother-in-law Patricia Jones Scott; his wife Patricia Jones Scott; his children, Verna Henerson, Joseph III, Vernon, Margo, Miranda Mallory and Eddie Jackson, Jr.; his friends, Deacon Harvey Cannon and Deacon William Dandridge; and also Monroe Smith. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; host of cousins.
