He was predeceased by: his grandmother Patricia Blackman. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his daughters, Gabriella and Maddison; his parents, Tammy Thomas and Richard Thomas; his grandfather Thomas Blackman; his sister Shauni; his nieces and nephews, Parker and Shane; his sister-in-law Lyndsey; his nieces and nephews, Gracie and Carlie; his brother-in-law Jeff Lavin (Lauren); his nieces and nephews, Luke and Lawson; and also, Dan Dennison, Gina and Jeff Lavin.

In lieu of flowers his mother is asking for a donation to be made to her church which has supported her immensely through this tragic time.
