It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie F. Henshaw (Bumpass, Virginia), who passed away on March 8, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William Fortune and Lillian Mary Strong Fortune; her husband Kenneth Hayes Henshaw; and her siblings, Jimmie Joseph, George Wilbur, Walter Bennett, Stuart Reed Fortune, Sr. and Bertha Ann Walker.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara C. Burruss (Lawrence), Beverly C. Fielder and Christine H. Hulme (Gary). She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
