She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Smith and Virginia Smith; and her sons, Justin and William Groome. She is survived by: her significant other Johnny Stanley; her sons, Eric Groome (Brittany) and Brandon Groome (Valerie); her stepdaughter Angie Stanley; her siblings, Sherry Henshaw and Buddy Elmore; and her close friend Karen Price. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Grace Free Will Baptist Church (9459 Poindexter Rd, Louisa, VA 23093). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM.
